Gordon,

We have received word that the UK library would like to have Beck from March to May of next year. We plan an opening ceremony with you and your family to which we will invite the press; and then later a symposium on the problems in long-term care. My fledgling organization, Kentuckians for Nursing Home Reform, will be the sponsor of this exhibition. We are expecting campus-wide interest and involvement as well as interest from throughout the Bluegrass, much like what happened at the U of L library in Louisville. By copy of this e-mail, I am introducing Robin Pease, Director of Senior Programs for the City of Lexington, who will be involved in the logistics of getting the exhibit and working between you and the University. I will, of course, also be involved every step of the way. This is exciting news for us to know the Beck will do for us what she did for Louisville. Her passing is not in vain. She has much to contribute still. I took the photos to the advertising agency and they were deeply moved and will produce pro bono for us a brochure. I will send a proof to you for checking and approval before it is printed. I will need an official release from you to use the pictures we choose. The pictures will be a big part of the brochure. Thanks for your help on this. More later.....
